The short version
Plug & Keep doesn’t collect, upload or share anything. Your photos go from your iPhone to the folder you choose on your PC, and nowhere else. There’s no account, no analytics and no advertising.
The app
Plug & Keep works entirely on your PC. It reads photos and videos from your iPhone and copies them to the folder you choose. It never changes or deletes anything on your iPhone, and it doesn’t send your photos, file names or any other information over the internet.
To work smoothly it keeps a few things on your PC only:
- Settings: the folder you last chose, whether you dismissed a tip, and how many files each iPhone had at its last scan, stored against a scrambled ID rather than the phone’s serial number.
- A log file: a record of scans and copies, including file names and any errors, so problems can be diagnosed. It stays on your PC unless you choose to send it to us.
Uninstalling Plug & Keep removes its settings and log. The photos you copied are yours and are never touched.
Buying the app
Plug & Keep is sold through the Microsoft Store. Microsoft handles payment and your Microsoft account under Microsoft’s privacy statement. We don’t receive your payment details.
This website
This website uses no cookies, analytics or tracking. Like any website, our hosting provider may briefly process technical information such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect against abuse.
If you email us, we use your email address and anything you send (such as a log file) only to help you, and delete it when it’s no longer needed. We never sell or share it.
